Ingredients for the latte:
- 1/4 cup chai concentrate (optional)
- Brown sugar, to taste
- Ice cubes
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 teaspoon organic ceremonial matcha
Ingredients for the pumpkin cream foam:
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin syrup
- 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
- A pinch of pumpkin spice to sprinkle on top
Method:
- Build the matcha chai base: If you’re using chai, pour the concentrate into a glass. Sweeten with brown sugar to taste, then add ice cubes.
- Add milk and matcha: Pour in 1 cup of milk over the ice, then sift the matcha into the glass. Whisk well (or froth) until fully dissolved and smooth.
- Make the pumpkin cream foam: In a bowl, combine cream, milk, pumpkin syrup and vanilla syrup. Whisk or froth until light and foamy.
- Top and finish: Spoon the pumpkin foam over the matcha chai latte and dust with pumpkin spice for the final touch.
Tip:
For a bolder taste, adjust the matcha or pumpkin syrup to your preference. A pinch of cinnamon can also add extra warmth.

This drink combines matcha’s antioxidant profile and gentle energy with the comforting sweetness of pumpkin and warming spices — a cosy treat that still feels light and balanced.
When to enjoy:
Perfect for a slow afternoon, a weekend treat, or as a warm-up after a cool autumn walk.
Diet-friendly:
You can adapt it to dairy-free diets by using plant-based milk and a vegan cream alternative. Also easy to reduce sugar by choosing a low-sugar pumpkin syrup.
