    Ingredients (serves 6):

    • A pinch of salt
    • 150 g white chocolate
    • 0.5 tsp baking powder
    • 150 g flour
    • 100 g brown sugar
    • 100 g butter
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tbsp matcha Organic Ceremonial Matcha

    Method:

    Step 1: Prepare the chocolate

    1. Chop the white chocolate: Cut the white chocolate into chunky pieces for pockets of melty sweetness in the blondie.

    Step 2: Make the batter

    1. Melt the butter: Melt the butter in the microwave, then add the brown sugar. Mix well until slightly fluffy.
    2. Add the egg: Beat in the egg until smooth.
    3. Add the dry ingredients: Stir in the flour, matcha, baking powder and salt. Mix until you get a smooth batter.
    4. Add the chocolate: Fold the white chocolate pieces into the batter.

    Step 3: Bake

    1. Bake: Pour into a shallow baking tin, greased and lightly floured. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C.
    2. Rest: Once baked, let the blondie rest for 5 minutes before unmoulding and serving.
