Ingredients (serves 6):
- A pinch of salt
- 150 g white chocolate
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 150 g flour
- 100 g brown sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp matcha Organic Ceremonial Matcha
Method:
Step 1: Prepare the chocolate
- Chop the white chocolate: Cut the white chocolate into chunky pieces for pockets of melty sweetness in the blondie.
Step 2: Make the batter
- Melt the butter: Melt the butter in the microwave, then add the brown sugar. Mix well until slightly fluffy.
- Add the egg: Beat in the egg until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients: Stir in the flour, matcha, baking powder and salt. Mix until you get a smooth batter.
- Add the chocolate: Fold the white chocolate pieces into the batter.
Step 3: Bake
- Bake: Pour into a shallow baking tin, greased and lightly floured. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C.
- Rest: Once baked, let the blondie rest for 5 minutes before unmoulding and serving.
