    Ingredients

    • 200 g firm tofu
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tsp organic ceremonial matcha
    • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (white or black)
    • 1 tsp maple syrup
    • 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger
    • 1 tbsp cornflour (optional)
    • 1 tbsp neutral oil (for cooking)

    Instructions

    1. 1. Make the marinade

      In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, ginger, and matcha until smooth and well combined.

    2. 2. Prep the tofu

      Cut the tofu into thick slices or cubes. Pat dry gently with kitchen paper to remove excess moisture.

    3. 3. Marinate

      Add the tofu to the marinade, toss to coat evenly, and let it rest for 10 minutes at room temperature.
